"We were late in booking a pianist for our wedding and asked Steve if he could come in and entertain our guests on the saturday between Xmas and New Year.
He played during the ceremony some very difficult classical pieces that we knew other pianists werent able to play (or play poorly), including "Queen of Sheba".
His knowledge of songs both classical peices and also 'modern' in terms of Pop, soul, rock music was astounding and played some superb versions of songs that both bride and groom listed for him as 'songs our lifetime so far'. All faultlessly played !
Talk about going that extra step - The Groom and Best Man are in a band together and Steve even learnt a song that they wrote many years ago and played it instrumentally perfect...something that was a really pleasant surprise to them both during dinner and got a round of applause!
I would confidently recommend Steve Christie as a pianist who can add that special air of quality, class and a lovely musical atmosphere to any wedding, ceremony and during the wedding breakfast.
